Hello! I’m Yu Qing (pronounced “you ching”). I’m based in sunny Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and I’ve been a Product Designer for 5+ years, with experience across marketplace, fintech, SaaS, and more recently, operational tools.

My journey into design started as a side pursuit, creating posters and t-shirts for university events. That curiosity grew further when I started exploring web design in my first job and somehow, I never really left.

Working in tech has taught me to stay adaptive in an increasingly fast-moving world. As designers, we get to witness change up close, shape how people experience it, and sometimes even help make it feel a little less overwhelming. I find that really exciting, especially now in the age of AI.

Outside of work, you’ll probably find me breaking a sweat at Pilates, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, geeking out over books, or just messing around with my cat.
